Ösp from Háholti

Ösp was bought to Fet in 2002.
She received honorary price for offsprings in 2011.

About her offsprings is said : Ösp gives horses above average in size with expressive heads. The neck is well raised, with high withers, strong back and muscled croup. The offsprings have good proportions and long legs.
The legs are dry but the joints a little crooked. The hooves are decent and they lack more mane and tail. Ösp gives an even 4-beat rythm tölt and trot with long strides. They are either excellent 5-gaiters or 4- gaiters, but two of the offsprings have good pace. The willingness was light and the offsprings carry themselves well under rider.

Ösp frá Háholti gives handsome, well built horses with well raised neck and powerful croup. Two of the offsprings are outstanding 5-gaiters. Ösp receives honorary price for offsprings and the 8. place.

María frá Feti (8.49) is her highest judged offspring, but she was the winner of the 5 year old mares at Landsmót 2011. Also her son, Már frá Feti was an Icelandic Champion in PP1 in 2013. Two of Ösp’s daughters are in breeding at Fet but they are Aþena (8.02), a daughter of Orri frá Þúfu and Hekla (8.25), a daughter of Vilmundur frá Feti.

Ösp  was put down in the spring of 2020.
